Golf Outing, Fall Schedule, and Final Spring Match

End of Season Wrap

Tee Up And Start Your Engines!!!

The 2026 Bud Skuba Memorial Tournament and Golf Cart 500 is set for Sunday, August 16th at the Arboretum Golf Club in Buffalo Grove.

“We landed the Arboretum again,” said Golf Commissioner Todd Dumstorf. “They have been a really great organization to work with and very good to the Griffins.”

This will be the third year the Arboretum Club will host the Griffins. The day has proved to be a success with Griffins, friends and family members playing 18 holes of golf and following up with a festive awards and raffle ceremony for the benefit of the Griffins RFC.

A shotgun start at 2 p.m. will initiate the ceremonies. Supplies are limited! Get your spot today!  Griffin fee this year is $150 per person. All Griffins, family, friends, and golf fiends are invited.  Go to chicagogriffins.com and use the pay button to sign up.

Development Team Goes Down Fighting

The Griffins-CRC development squad finished the spring season in Indianapolis with a losing effort against the Ohio Aviators select side.

The squad traveled with 17 spirited players and went down swinging in a 40-15 defeat.

“The boys competed well and saved their best performance for the last game,” said Drew Suniula, head coach. “Great leadership from coach-player Christian Artuso at halfback running the show with Tommy Guerin at flyhalf directing the young guys around the pitch. The final score did not reflect the level of competition out there from both teams. The Aviator depth and bench became the difference in the end.”
