Our Legacy
Founded in 1973, the Chicago Griffins have stood as a cornerstone of Midwest rugby for over five decades. From dominating national playoffs in the '90s and early 2000s to competing in the elite Rugby Super League and claiming recent Midwest Premiership titles, the Griffins have consistently set the standard for excellence. Our legacy is defined not only by championships, but by the generations of players, coaches, and supporters who have built a club grounded in tradition, resilience, and pride.

Where We Play
Matches: Schiller Playfield
Home matches are usually played at Schiller Playfield, 4400 N. Cumberland Ave., located at the corner of Montrose Ave. and Cumberland.
Team Training: Columbus Park
Practices are held at Columbus Park, 500 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL. If you are new to the game and want to give it a go, swing on by! All player levels are welcome.
